What is easy that I can make for my parents' anniversary? [[read on]]?

I'm 13 and want to do something nice for my parents' anniversary. They have been married for 8 years and would like to treat them to something nice because most of the time they don't do anything for their anniversary but exchange cards. This year I came up with idea to make them a dinner and dessert [[probably a cake]] and let them have a candle lit dinner while I take my brother and sister over to my grandmother's house who lives in the neighborhood. I also am planning on giving them 25 dollars and my brother is doing the same so they can have 50 dollars to help pay for them to go to their favorite restaurant (Ruth Chris). Anyways, what would be nice and easy to make for them? My brother and I don't really have much cooking skills because we are only 13 (we are twins). I want their anniversary to be special though. Any ideas would be nice. Thanks in advance. :]What is easy that I can make for my parents' anniversary? [[read on]]?
Chocolate covered strawberries.

Use cold strawberries. Rinse them off. Pat dry with paper towel. Leave stems on.

Melt a bag of semi-sweet morsels in a microwave safe bowl. Try heating 30 seconds at a time stirring and continuing until smooth.

Holding the stem, dip strawberries in chocolate 3/4 way to top. Allow any excess to drip off and then place on wax paper to cool.

These should cool on their own but you can also put them on a cookie sheet in the fridge too.

Suggest a bottle of champagne be purchased by the adults to enjoy after their night out. You may be able to pick up a few cheap champagne glasses at Walmart or Ikea.
Make them their most favorite food. ask grams for help if your not sure how to do something. baking a cake is the best thing because it was made by you and not just purchased. Have fun! What is easy that I can make for my parents' anniversary? [[read on]]?
Something easy is grilled chicken and you can get cheese and melt it on the top and chop some fresh tomatoes and onions and mushrooms saute them with a bit of oil and put it on top of the chicken. It is actually easy even though it may sound like a lot and its really classy looking. You could make a salad and use the extra tomatoes and onions and mushrooms to put in that. Then mashed potatoes is easy to make. Good luck I hope I helped
This is really simple and you can alter it to suit what you have at hand.

The main thing is to understand what you are doing and getting them ready, only turn the oven on to preheat.

Get the things you are going to use, measure them roughly, you don't need to be exact.

You will need to season with salt, that is a taste thing, it is better to put too little in than take it out, so taste test. What is easy that I can make for my parents' anniversary? [[read on]]?
If you two make it and do all the clean up, I am sure your parents will think that peanut butter and jelly is the best possible choice for an anniversary dinner.

If you want something a little more complicated than that, then make spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread (store-bought) and a green salad. This menu will cost you about 8 dollars.

Brown 1 lb ground beef in a skillet and then add a jar or can of your favorite spaghetti sauce. If you have some garlic powder add just a little of that. You might also add about 1/2 teaspoon of salt. SImmer (heat until little bubbles form but not big bubbles) for about 15 minutes and up to one hour.

Meanwhile, heat water in a big pot and add pasta (about 1/2 pound for two people (maybe more if they are big eaters) Cook according to the directions on the package. heat up the garlic bread according to the package directions.

For the salad tear up some lettuce and then toss it with the other vegetables your parents like in their salad. Use bottled dressing.

When it is done, combine it with the sauce.

You really can't beat a good dish of pasta and I know your effort will be soooooo appreciated!

First, you can pick up really cute inexpensive decorations at the $1 store to help set the mood. As far as cooking... if you go to Vons or Albertsons they have the $5.00 rotisserie chicken that you can safely cut to put as a side on the plate. You can make some spaghetti (it has directions on the package, just add sauce) and also get the pre buttered garlic bread that you just stick in the oven (normally at Albertsons). For your cake they have some really good ideas at Rachel Ray's website. It gives you step by step instructions and pictures as well. Good Luck!

Very sweet.

Here is a simple recipe that you can handle, but you will need some groceries but look around to see if you mom has these items before you buy them.

1 whole chicken

1 small bag of potatoes

2 tomatoes

1 cucumber

1 small Italian bread

2 lemons

Oregano

Olive oil

Here is what you do

Turn oven on to 375 to preheat

Take whole chicken out of packaging and remove the small bag which is stored in the cavity in the chicken and throw it away. You are too young to deal with that stuff.

Put the chicken in a baking dish.

Wash your hands well

Peel about 6 potatoes, and you don't have to peel them perfectly. Do leave some skin on.

Wash the potatoes and quarter them and place them in the pan with the chicken.

Now wash your hands well again.

Add two cups of water in the pan.

Salt and pepper your chicken and potatoes, as well as the water and cut lemons in half and squeeze them onto the chicken and pots.

Sprinkle a bit of oregano on chicken and pots.

Place in oven and set timer for 2 hours.

Wash hands well.

Wash tomatoes and quarter them and place them on dish. Peel cucumber, and it's OK to leave some green on it and add them with the tomatoes.

Add salt %26amp; pepper and 1/4 cup of olive oil and a sprinkle of oregano. Toss and let sit.

Cut the Italian bread into slices, butter them and put them on place. Cover plate with plastic wrap so bread does not dry up.

And for desert, you can buy some cookies or brownies and put them on a plate and do what my forster kids did for me. Add some hershey kisses around the brownies or cookies.

Edit: If you like my recipe and need additional help, feel free to access my profile and shoot off an email. Good luck!
aww, you and your brother are very sweet!! how about roast chicken, potatoes, and a vegetable for dinner? chicken is very easy to cook; just get a whole chicken, wash and pat dry the outside( be sure to remove any giblets if it comes with any), rub the skin with a little oil and salt and pepper, throw it in the oven for 1-2 hours, depending on weight. betty crocker makes good potatoes in the box if you don't want to make them from scratch. as far as the veg, anything you like (asparagus looks very elegant!)

red velvet cake w/ cream cheese icing is a suggestion for the cake.

good luck, hope it turns out ok for you!
here is something very very easy. shrimp fettuccine alfredo. go to the store and buy 1 bad of frozen precooked shrimp and thaw them. them buy 2 lbs of fettuccine noodles and 2 jars of alfredo sauce. boil and cook the noodles according to the directions, drain the noodles and combine with the shrimp and sauce. if you wanted to you could also add some frozen broccoli to it. You can serve it with a salad and you have a complete dinner.
