Name your favorite low end and high end chain places to eat. Also if you have a local place where is it ?

Ex: Low -- Olive Garden (could be McDonald's, not my choice)

High -- Ruth Chris

Local Bill's BBQ Richmond, VA -- good BBQ and the best limeades and pies. They will still serve you curbside.Name your favorite low end and high end chain places to eat. Also if you have a local place where is it ?
Don't go to chain restaurants unless you like food that is mass produced at a very low quality. National places such as Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc. have very low food quality and freshness. I've been in the business for a long time and those of you who haven't would be appalled at what goes on in one of their kitchens. Eat local whenever possible. You will get better quality food and rather than contributing to the million dollar salary of a corporate CEO, you can put money in a local entrepreneur's pocket.
Chains:

Low end: (tie) Whataburger or Freddy's Fast Custard, great hamburgers

High end:Saltgrass Steakhouse

Local places: New Braunfels, TX

Granzins BBQ, Gristmill, Myrons Steakhouse (better then Ruth Chris)Name your favorite low end and high end chain places to eat. Also if you have a local place where is it ?
my favorite is mannions restuarant located in quincy,ma... they have a great menu from breakfast to lunch usually a plate is about 6.00 and you get a great portion. I wouldn't say they are low end but its a good price to get filled up for breakfast. Mannions is a irish/american breakfast/lunch place..yumm..and drools. i'm going there tomorrow with my friends.. and for three of us with coffee the bill with come up to about 22.00

I'd have to say high in dave's bbq there prices are high but there food is great and you get BIG portions and u don't leave hunger..u leave with a doggie bag, which is located in braintree,ma...which they will delivery to you too. One person is like almost 20 but they do have specials..but you get a HUGE PLATE.
Not ultra high end, but the Open Kitchen in Charlotte, N.C. is my favorite. Low end would be Bojangles. Favorite local place is Bangkok in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It has the most divine Thai food ever, especially the Pad Thai, and their sweet and hot soup! To die for.Name your favorite low end and high end chain places to eat. Low end RJ Burger

High end Forge on the Forest

Both in Carmel California

Both local
Carls Jr and the Claim Jumper.
Hey homeboy buddy !

Let's see....a "high end" (relatively speaking) is Buca de Beppo (there's one I go to in DC, and I know they have one in Pittsburg and I think St. Louis). Delicious family-style Italian and the best canneloni I've ever had, drowning in chocolate.

I also love Aladdin's Eatery (also in the DC area, Shirlington...I didn't know it was a chain until recently). I had a sandwich there a couple of weeks ago that I have craving ever since....

I'm totally with ya on Bill's Barbecue. I miss shaking the hot sauce out of a salt shaker...not sure why they changed that. Definitely a local guilty pleasure of mine, as is Chiocca's Downstairs. Best Turkey Reuben and coldest draft beer in Richmond. And since I live in Lakeside, gotta give a plug for Roy's Big Burger. Ordering feels kinda like the soup nazi, but it's worth it if you like old drive-in type burgers.

OH MY GOODNESS...how could I have forgotten, Jak and Jil in Charlottesville. I grew up about a mile from there and we would walk down there for a burger all the time when I was a kid. I still make a special trip from time to time.
High end... Claim Jumper, Roseville, CA

Low end... Arbys, Carmichael, CA
My low end to eat is called Ms. Mac's Fillin Station (this is a car themed eatery in which the servers are called "attendents", the menus are called "manuels" and the food is named after cars and car parts, for example: onion rings are called "O-rings".

It's quaint, but after a couple of trips, it's boring.

My high end eatery would be Olive Garden.
high end desha's or malone's in lexington ky verry good lower end would be loudon square
