Whenever you dine out do you prefer a buffett or just order off the menu or does it depend on the ocassion?

Seems like buffetts are popular but i hate them .i hear people say go to the buffett so you can get your money's worth.then many of them march up to the chow line like pigs at a feed trough, load up their plates till it falls off,eat about 1/2 of the food and go back and get another plate load.I use to enjoy a good buffett but i prefer ordering off the menu at a comfortable sitdown resturant if its a special ocassion i enjoy a resturant such as , Flemmings,Ruths Chris,or the Olive Garden. All of these the prices vary and are very good.Whenever you dine out do you prefer a buffett or just order off the menu or does it depend on the ocassion?
it depends on the company and the ocacion
Buffet...you don't have to wait. Nice hat, by the way.Whenever you dine out do you prefer a buffett or just order off the menu or does it depend on the ocassion?
I will eat at a buffet as a last resort! The food sits out and you don't know for how long. Give me a menu any day!
i think a buffet is a neat treat but you over eat way too much cuz you feel you have to get your moneys worth and everything looks so appetizing.....i like sit down restaraunts.....i eat less and the atmosphere is more relaxing and enjoyable.Whenever you dine out do you prefer a buffett or just order off the menu or does it depend on the ocassion?
I REFUSE TO EAT AT BUFFETS! when i go out to eat, i eat at good restaurants that serve quality food. no chains, like olive garden or even flemmings or ruth's chris. i live in vegas, so there are plenty of quality restaurants that are local and or not huge chains.
I prefer to order off the menu. A buffet is okay but I get impatient waiting for people to pile the food on their plates as though there was no tomorrow. Sheesh!!!!
buffets are good for special occasions when there is a lot of people in a group... but not all the time..I wouldn't go on a date to a buffet alone.. unless it is something more high class like Japanese sushi... but yeah... buffets are bad for you in the end.. health problems act up after a while.. my mom blames buffets for her diabetes.. she wanted to eat her "money's worth".... I prefer ordering from restuarants....
It does depend on the occasion, and how much time we have. A restaurant where you're served takes longer. In a pinch a buffet is OK. But a real restaurant is always better.
I like buffets sometimes, if I want variety. But for sit down breakfast, lunch or dinner, I prefer diners.
I found out it does depend on who else are going. All the grands?Buffet.Lunch with my daughters then anything sit down and comfy.Dinner out, cozy and cocktails before.Good question.
ehh i hate buffets resturants. I like them in banquets though.
