Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?

My boyfriend and I are both in college, so we don't have alot of money. Next weekend we are going to a comedy show, and we wanna make a date of it and go somewhere nice for dinner. He wants to go to Ruth's Chris for dinner and I am a little weary. I really don't want to spend more than $100. If we don't get drinks and just have a steaks, regular nonalcoholic drinks, sides, and a house salad would $100 be enough?

ThanksRuth's Chris Steakhouse?
sorry to say, but no... food it self ranges 19- 50 something and drinks like coke, tea, and tea... i think it was 4 something and then you gotta think about tip... not tipping like 4-8 dollars...i mean my date and i went and we tipped 15 dollars... so with tip, tax, food, and drink you may need 100 plus a 20... i ate for 160 something with tip... and besides its not like your gonna eat there everyday so why not just spend for that one day a 100 plus =P
The average ticket price per person is $65 per person. They only use the top 2% of beef, and prepare steaks in an 1800 degree broiler. (can't reproduce that at home) It is true you could spend less and eat something comparable, but you'll be left with lots of dishes ect..

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?
I've never understood this concept. Do you know how expensive that place is? Why pay $100 for something you are going to **** into the toilet the next day? Just go buy steaks from the store, cook em', light some candles, turn on a movie, and voila! You've got a more romantic evening than Ruth's Chris could ever give, and for 24x cheaper.
Nope. Honestly, go just for the sweet potatos if you even go. I'd go somewhere locally owned though, support your local economy. Plus the steaks really aren't that good, make them yourself and pour butter over them, same deal. maybe heat the plate up really hot for the ruth's chris experience.Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?
$100.00 might cover it if you stay away from alcoholic drinks.

Personally, I think that the food at Ruth's Chris is terrible and isn't worth worth what they charge. I'm sure that there are much better restaurants in the area for that kind of money.
If there's a Black Aungus near you, then you can have an OK steak dinner w/no kiddies running around. If kids don't bother you then go to Sizzler. Otherwise, I gotta go with standup and say make it at home.
I doubt you'll get away with under $100. You can say that you won't have a drink, but once you're there, you may opt for the wine to compliment the beef. Ruth Chris' is pretty fancy and the steak is awesome! Good luck, enjoy!
If you are in Hawaii and the $100 is supposed to be for the both of you...that answer is 'no.'
yes if you order a side salad. entrees are about $35-$40/person. even if you order water, after tax and tip your $100 is spent.
