I think dining out at restaurants is a waste of money but my friend's insist on going twice a week?

I'm in college and YESi have a job but that doesn't mean i have money to blow like that on fancy restaurants twice a week which is A lot. the only time i really dine out at restaurants like ruths chris and all that is when im going on a date or some other special occassion. I cook amost everydayI think dining out at restaurants is a waste of money but my friend's insist on going twice a week?
I'd say stop the madness and eat at Home or in the Dorm at the School cafeteria? I'd say it must be cheaper than eating out consider the Gasoline to get there and cost of the food and the Taxes! I mean really if you have that kind of money maybe get out this country!
It is unfortunate when people in a "comfortable" financial position are insensitive to people who cannot spend in that manner. Perhaps you could say that you like to keep the finer restaurants for special occasions and that you love to cook. Maybe if you treat you to dinner in your home, they can reciprocate by treating you on occasion. Show them how nice and special a dinner at home can be.I think dining out at restaurants is a waste of money but my friend's insist on going twice a week?
Yes, it's a waste of money, in the same way that going to the movies with your friends is a waste of money. It's the price we pay to have fun sometimes.

If I were you, I would eat beforehand and then join them at the restaurant for a drink. You sound like a smart person! It sucks that you're being put in that position.
I agree with you, I can't afford to go out to a restaurant for a meal twice a week, or even for takeaways.

When I cook I make enough for some leftovers and sometimes will be able to select 2-3 veggies that I just need to put on a plate to nuke as I do my steak or whatever.I think dining out at restaurants is a waste of money but my friend's insist on going twice a week?
I cook almost every day also, but about once a month I like to try something new %26amp; nice.
Continue to cook at home.Don't waste your money dining out. You are getting served the same food . So let them waste their money and you need to save yours for a rainy day
