Good steakhouses around Kansas City?

I live about 30 min from the plaza and KCK on the Kansas side. I want to take my boyfriend out for his 21st. I've already looked at J. Gilberts, Ruths Chris, and the Capital Grille, and all are a little too pricey. I want good food, but not for $100! Any suggestions? Well the Plaza isn't a cheap area of town you know...

Also good steakhouses are typically more expensive because they use prime grade beef. Now, I haven't been in KC for several years but you might see if Plaza III is still there and check their prices. Now one place is several miles away but they had huge steaks at a lower price than the other guys. It is called Jess and Jims somewhere around 105th and whatsitsname (I'm thinking it's Holmes).Good steakhouses around Kansas City?

Well to get a good steak you do have to pay a little more sometimes.



There is a place you can go to at lake lotowana it is the

marina grog and galley. Great place on the lake when you

have more money. Romantic also.



Try outback steakhouse, or even longhorn. They are good also
