The boyfriend and I are taking a small weekend getaway in Chicago. We wanted to go out for a romantic steak dinner. I have looked into it a bit and found the Chicago Chop House and Ruth Chris to be of some interest. Can anyone tell me which they would choose, or if they can suggest another place. I have never been to the Chop House in Chicago. It is probably top notch. I have been to many Ruth Chris places across the U.S. It is expensive, but it is very good. All sides are a la ca-rte. The sides are enough for two. Grab a steak, salad, and two sides of you choice. It will be plenty. The service has always been top notch. With some drinks you are looking at 150-200 for a great meal. He will not be disappointed with the steak. I have found that I like the stand alone Ruth Chris restaurant as opposed to the RC in Hotels.Chicago Chop House or Ruth Chris?
Last I heard, the news was out about Ruth Chris. Way not worth the price. They bank on people thinking big price equals great food. Ain't necessarily so.Chicago Chop House or Ruth Chris?
