I make a blue cheese dressing that is great with salad and steak. It has a thick consistency and great taste. Mix 1/3 c. heavy cream and 1/3 c. buttermilk. Stir in about 3/4 c. mayonnaise. Add 1 Tbsp of either lemon juice of red vinegar, and about 1/4 tsp of dried mustard. Add 1 or 2 tsp of minced garlic and 4-6 oz. crumbled blue cheese. Let it sit overnight to get thick and to allow the flavors to mix.
